Sleep and ventilation
Oximetry
Overnight oximetry is a simple, painless test that continuously monitors blood oxygen levels during sleep. It can detect episodes of oxygen desaturation and help assess possible sleep-related breathing disorders, particularly in children with snoring, suspected sleep apnoea or chronic respiratory conditions.

Capnography
End-tidal capnography is a non-invasive method of continuously monitoring carbon dioxide (CO₂) levels during sleep. It provides information about ventilation and can help identify nocturnal hypoventilation and other sleep-related breathing disorders.

Management of ventilators
Specialised assessment and setup of non-invasive ventilation (NIV), including CPAP and BiPAP, for children with sleep-related breathing disorders, hypoventilation or chronic respiratory failure. Ventilator settings are tailored to the child’s clinical needs and, when required, guided by overnight monitoring of oxygen saturation and CO₂ levels.

Cardiorespiratory Sleep Study
A comprehensive test to evaluate sleep-disordered breathing in children. Essential for identifying conditions such as Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) and determining the need for removal of adenoids and tonsils
